Alert Notification
Your phone comes with several different options to keep you
aware of what’s going on by sounding the alert or ringer.
To set the alerts:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Sounds.
4. Select Alerts.
5. Select your desired option.
ᮣ Service sets alert on or off for network services parameter
changes.
ᮣ Voicemail sets an alert to notify you of voice message(s). Select
Ringer Length to set the ringer length of Voicemail notification.
ᮣ Messaging sets an alert to notify you of Text, Picture Message,
or Web Alerts. Select Ringer Length to set the ringer length of
Messaging notification.
ᮣ Minute Beep sets a minute reminder that beeps ten seconds
before the end of each minute during a call.
ᮣ Signal Fade sets alert to notify you when your phone loses a
signal during a call.
6. Use your navigation key to select a setting and press .
Tip: You can select Once or Repeat Alert if you select Voicemail or
Messaging. Repeat Alert sounds an alert every two minutes for twenty
minutes.
