My Ringtones
My Ringtones lets you assign ringtones (preloaded and downloaded) for calls, alerts,
and as distinctive ringers for Contacts.
1. From the Multimedia menu, touch My Ringtones. A list of ringtones appears in
the display.
2. When accessing My Ringtones from an Alarm or a Contact, select a particular
ringtone. A dot appears in the selected ringtone’s radio button, and the
ringtone begins playing.
• To stop ringtone playback, touch the ringtone a second time.
• To assign the highlighted ringtone to the Alarm or Contact, touch the Set button.
3. When accessing My Ringtones from the Multimedia menu, assign the
highlighted ringtone by touching the Set as button. The following options
appear in the display: Ringtone, Contact ID and Alert Tone. Select the option.
4. When using a downloaded ringtone, touch the Options soft key and the
following options appear in the display:
• Send Via BT — Sends a copy of the ringtone file to another device over a Bluetooth
connection.
• Erase — Erases one or more selected files or All files.
For additional Options, touch the More soft key:
• Move — Moves this file to Phone or Card memory.
• Copy — Copies this file to Phone or Card memory.
• Lock / Unlock — Lets you prevent/permit file deletion.
• Ringtone Info — Displays information about the selected file, such as the file name, the
file type, and the data size.
5. Select the desired option.
