Press and hold CLOCK/SLEEP/TIMER
until the year digits flash.

Set the date.
1 Turn the jog dial to set the year and
press YES•ENTER.
2 Turn the jog dial to set the month
and press YES•ENTER.

Setting the clock
“- -y - -m - -d” and “- -:- -” indications
appear in the display until you set the clock.
Once the clock is set, the recording date and
time are stamped automatically (pages 7, 13,
19 and 20).
3 Turn the jog dial to set the day and
press YES•ENTER.

Set the time.
1 Turn the jog dial to set the hour and
press YES•ENTER.
2 Turn the jog dial to set the minutes.

Press YES•ENTER.
The clock starts from 00 seconds.
To display the time
Press CLOCK/SLEEP/TIMER. If you press
the button again, the date indication appears
in the display. To go back to the previous
display, press NO•CANCEL. When the
power is turned off, the time indication is
displayed.
Tip
The time display system of this player is the 24-
hour system.
