Automatically Time Sync
Select to synchronize the local time automatically every hour.
NOTE: If you want the unit to automatically synchronize the local time,
the item MUST NOT be set to , or the function
cannot be activated.
Manually Time Sync
Select to instantly synchronize the local time.
5.1.4 Unit Name
Users are allowed to assign a name, up to 11 characters, to the DVR-4TH/
8TH/ 16TH series unit.
Follow the steps below to edit the unit name.
• Select from System Setup menu and press ENTER. A virtual
keyboard displays.

• Use Direction keys to move the cursor to the desired character.
• Press ENTER to add the character to the entry field (up to 11 characters).
• When done, move the cursor to and press ENTER to save the
settings and exit.
5.1.5 Show Unit Name
Select to show the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit name on the
monitor or hide the unit name.
