System Menu Operation (continued)
Date Set
With the “Date Set” menu on the screen, use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust
the following four date fields:
•
Field 1: mm (month) from 01 (Jan) to 12 (Dec)
•
Field 2: dd (date) form 01(1st) to 31 (31st)
•
Field 3: www (week day) from Mon (Monday) to Sun (Sunday)
•
Field 4: yy (year)
Press the AUDIO button (4) to confirm entry and move to the next field. Press and hold the
AUDIO button to complete the date setting.
Clock
Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the hour (hh) and minutes (mm). Press the
AUDIO button (4) to confirm each entry and move to the next field. Press and hold the AUDIO
button to complete the clock setting.
Time Format
Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to choose either “12 Hours” or “24 Hours”.
Local/Distant
Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to choose between “Local” or “Distant”.
This feature is used to designate the strength of the signals at which the radio will stop during
automatic tuning. "Distant” is the default, allowing the radio to stop at a broader range of
signals. To set the unit to select only strong local stations during automatic tuning, use the up
(+) or down (-) joystick buttons to select “Local”.
Area
Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to select the appropriate frequency spacing for your
area: U.S.A., South America, Europe, or Oirt (Russia).
