Using Your Phone
The message center lets you compose and send text
messages. A flashing cursor shows where the text will
appear:
When you enter text, the flashing cursor changes to a
block cursor, and the soft key functions change
Entering Text
Various text entry methods make it easy for you to enter
names, numbers, and text messages on your phone.

to delete the character
to the left of the insertion

Block
cursor
indicates

highlighted
character.
After two
seconds, the block
cursor reverts to a
flashing cursor and
moves to the next
position.
