GENERAL

SELECT TV TYPE

Enables you to select the TV type
when watching fi les recorded on
the camera on your TV.

4:3 / [16:9]

ANALOG INPUT

Switches input and output for the
AV/S connector of the camera.

[OFF] : Switches to output.
ON : Switches to input. The

indicator lights up on the

LCD monitor.

DISPLAY

Enables you to set whether to
display the on-screen display.

OFF : Turns off the on-screen display.
[ON] : Turns on the on-screen display.

DISPLAY ON TV

Used for displaying camera’s on-
screen display on a TV screen.

[OFF] : Does not display on TV.
ON : Displays on TV.

NOTE

This setting is available only if the TV is

connected with the AV/S-Video cables. If connected
with the DV cable, camera’s on-screen display will not
be displayed on TV.

LANGUAGE

Enables you to set the display
language. (

Enables you to set the time.

DATE / TIME

DATE DISPLAY STYLE

Enables you to set the date and
time display format.

DATE STYLE:
year.month.day
/ [month.day.year] / day.month.year
TIME:
24h
/ [12h]

DATE/TIME

Enables you to set whether to
display the current time on the
LCD monitor.

OFF : The date/time does not appear.
[AUTO] : The date/time appears for approx. 5 seconds in

the following cases.

When the power/mode switch is set from OFF to ON

When playback starts

When the date is changed during playback

ON : The date/time is always displayed.

PRESET

Returns all the camera settings
to their default values.

EXECUTE : Performs this function.
[CANCEL] : Returns to the menu screen without

executing reset.

QUICK RESTART

Enables the camera to start up
quickly when you turn the power
off and then on again within fi ve
minutes by closing and opening
the LCD monitor. (“Power-linked
operation”
