Print server light patterns
The four indicator lights on the print server indicate activity, status, and errors, depending on the light
pattern.
Normal conditions
Indicator

Ready Processing Testing Updating flash code
The print
server is
waiting for
data. A print job is
active. When the Test
button is
pressed, a
network setup
page is sent
from the print
server to the
printer. A flash file is
being
downloaded
over the
network. The print server is
processing a Flash file.
Do not turn off the printer
while the print server is
processing Flash – you
may damage the
firmware.
The lights
cycle on and
off, starting at
the top and
traveling down
before
reversing
