Always grill on the wire rack with the cooking
compartment door closed and do not preheat.
All the values given are guidelines and can vary
depending on the properties of your food.
Rinse meat in cold water and dab it dry with kitchen
towel.
Do not add salt to the meat until it has been grilled.
Place the wire rack on the glass pan so that it catches
the meat juices.
Use tongs to turn the pieces of food you are grilling. If
you pierce the meat with a fork, the juices will run out
and it will become dry.
Dark meat, e.g. beef, browns more quickly than
lighterĆcoloured meat such as veal or pork. Do not let
this worry you. When grilling lightĆcoloured meat or
fish fillets, these often only brown slightly on the
surface, although they are cooked and juicy on the
inside.
