Digital Rights
Management (DRM)
When you download digital items online, they may
be subject to DRM restrictions. DRM, or digital
rights management, is a system that defines how
copyrighted digital items can be distributed. It also
limits the use of those items based on defined
restrictions.
Note: DRM restrictions only apply to Java
applications.
Digital items may be forward locked. This means
you cannot send them to anyone. You cannot
remove forward locking from an item. If
f
appears next to an item, it is forward locked and
cannot be sent in MMS messages.
Note: Nextel will offer subscriptions to Java
Applications, but the license information
will appear as Unlimited Use.
