4. The administrator will

select one of the
following options:

Press 1 – Allow Test.

Press 2 – Warn.

Press 3 – Lockout.

The display shows
the QC Interval Security
menu. The operator can
choose between QC
intervals. The settings
are:
• Time Interval – QC

Interval based on a set
number of hours
between control tests.

• Time of Day – choose

up to three times
during the day that QC
Interval will take place.

• Number of Patient

Tests – QC Interval
based on the number
of patient tests
specified.

5. The administrator will

select one of the
following options:

Press 1 – Time Interval:
continue to step 6.

Press 2 – Time of Day:
skip to step 7.

Press 3 – Patient Tests:
skip to step 8.

QC Time Interval option,
the Time of Day option,
or the Number of Patient
Tests option.

6. Enter a Time Interval

number between 1-99,
then press Enter. Skip
forward to step 9.

The display returns to
the Security QC Interval
menu.

7. Enter up to 3 times

of the day in
chronological order,
starting at midnight.
Press Enter to confirm
each time. Skip forward
to step 9.

The display returns to
the Security QC Interval
menu.
