TROUBLESHOOTING
DIAGNOSING AN ICE MACHINE THAT WILL
NOT RUN
WARNING
High (line) voltage is applied to the control board
(terminals #20 and #21) at all times. Removing
control board fuse or moving the toggle switch to
OFF will not remove the power supplied to the
control board.
1. Verify primary voltage is supplied to ice machine.
2. Verify that the fuse or circuit breaker is closed and
the ice machine is plugged into a receptacle.
3. Verify control board fuse is OK.
4. Verify the transformer is supplying power to the
control board.
•
If the interior light functions or the red control
board light is energized the transformer is OK.
•
If the transformer is supplying power to the
control board and the red control board light
will not energize, replace the control board.
