Advanced Configuration and Power Interface: an industry-standard specification
(co-developed by Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Microsoft, Phoenix, and Toshiba, for
operating-system-directed power management for laptop, desktop, and server
computers. A replacement for APM.
2. AP Access Point.
3. BIOS Basic Input/Output System.
4. BSSID Basic Service Set Identifier.
5. DC Direct Current.
6. DVCAM
A digital video compression format provided by Sony. The DVCAM format
provides fixed media compression.
7. DVD Digital Versatile Disk.
8. EMEA
Europe, Middle East and Africa, a term used in traditional and electronic
commerce to signify activities in those regions of the world or to refer specifically
to those regions.
