Adjustment Safety
Disconnect power to the
machine when perform-
ing any maintenance,
assembly or adjust-
ments. Failure to do this
may result in serious per-
sonal injury.
Loose hair and clothing
could get caught in
machinery and cause
serious personal injury.
Keep loose clothing
rolled up and long hair
tied up and away from
machinery.

safety glasses at all

Outfeed Table
To set the outfeed table:
1. Unplug the machine from the power
source!
2. Open the access door on the back of the
machine, just below the fence adjustments.
3. Turn the cutterhead pulley to position the
knife or carbide cutter close to the highest
point in its revolution.
4. Set a straightedge on the outfeed table so
that it extends over the cutterhead (
Figure
33).

Outfeed Table
Carbide cutter

revolution and
is just touching
straightedge.
5. Rock the cutterhead back-and-forth, using
the cutterhead pulley to position the cutter
edge at the highest point in its revolution.
6. Loosen the outfeed table lock knob.
7. Turn the outfeed table handwheel to raise or
lower the outfeed table until the carbide cut-
ter or knife just touches the straightedge
WITHOUT lifting it off the outfeed table.
8. Tighten the outfeed table lock knob.
