• Squeeze the tabs on the motor
harness connector to unplug it
from the battery connector.
• Squeeze the tabs on the charger
connector to plug it into the
battery connector
.
• Plug the charger into a standard
120 volt wall outlet
.
Note: If power to the outlet is
controlled by a wall switch, make
sure the switch is “ON”.
• Charge the 6 volt batteries a
minimum of 14 hours after each
use. Never charge the 6 volt
batteries longer than 30 hours.
Overcharging or undercharging
the 6 volt batteries may shorten
battery life and decrease vehicle
running time.
• Once the 6 volt batteries are
charged, reconnect the battery
connector and motor harness
connector and lower the seat
back.
Note: Remember to lock the lock
fastener to prevent children from
accessing the 6 volt batteries.

• Rotate the lock fastener on the
seat back

turn using a slotted
screwdriver to unlock the battery
compartment.
• Lift the seat to access the 6 volt
batteries.
• Use pliers to remove the fuses
from the 6 volt batteries.
• Look at each fuse to make sure
it is not blown. If a fuse has
blown, replace it with a new
Power Wheels
®
30 amp fuse.
• Re-insert the fuses into the 6 volt
batteries before charging. The
6 volt batteries will not charge if
a 30 amp fuse in good condition
is not inserted into each 6 volt
battery.

Important Note: The 6 volt batteries must be upright while charging. You do not have to
remove the 6 volt batteries from the vehicle to charge them.
