Assembly
• Open the phone’s battery
compartment door and remove
the packet of #3 x
3 /

" screws.
• Insert three “AAA” (LR03) alkaline
batteries as indicated in the
battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment
door.
• Insert the #3 x 3 /
8
" screws into the
holes in the battery compartment
door and tighten the screws with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.

WARNING
Placing the “AAA” (LR03) batteries in the phone with the
positive (+) and negative (-) markings the wrong way could
cause damage or over-heating resulting in injury. The “AAA”
(LR03) batteries must be positioned as shown on the battery
compartment door.

• Do not mix different types of batteries; alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).

• If you use a battery charger, it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and
other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired.
