Tape Drive Unit Replacement
The tape drive unit is an active, hot, or cold replacement component. The tape drive
backplane (TAPEBP) is a cold replacement component. The tape drives are identical
on both midrange servers. On the SPARC Enterprise M4000 server the CD-
RW/DVD-RW Drive Backplane must be removed to access the tape drive backplane.
