This is an automatic mode that selects the
shutter speed and aperture for you but still
allows you to select the other camera settings.
The shutter speed and aperture setting are
determined automatically.

Aperture (auto): F2.8 to F8 1 EV steps

Programed Auto
This is an automatic mode that allows you to set the
shutter speed. You can use this mode to take shots
that freeze movement (fast shutter speeds) or that
give the impression of movement (slow shutter
speeds).
h Shutter speeds: 2 to 1/1000 sec.
1 EV steps
Aperture (auto): F2.8 to F8 1 EV steps

Shutter-priority Auto
This is an automatic mode that allows you to set the
aperture. You can use this mode to take shots with
a blurred background (wide aperture) or with both
foreground and background in sharp focus (narrow
aperture).
h Aperture settings: F2.8 to F8 1 EV steps
Shutter speed (auto): 1/4 to 1/1000 sec.
