ProSoft i-View uses wireless TCP/IP technology to connect to and communicate with
PLCs. Direct access from a local network requires both devices to be on the same
subnet. The PLC acts as the communications server, and the iPhone or iPod Touch is
the Client.
The following picture shows a typical setup using the recommended industrial wireless
hardware, but basically any WiFi router will do it.
