Circuit Breaker. Controls the power receptacle. When you push the rocker to ON, the switch will be closed (a
red indicator shows the user that the contacts are closed). When you push the rocker to OFF, the contact will
be open. The circuit breaker must always be open, to ensure all power is disconnected from the power sup-
plies.

Strain Relief Mount. The Strain Relief Mount enables you to connect the power cord strain relief to the unit.
A power cord strain relief is a plastic device designed to avoid accidental power down of the Call Relay SP
(i.e., if the power cord is accidentally pulled, the strain relief will relieve pressure put on the cord.)

Power Terminal. Provides screw terminal wire connections to the -42 to -60 VDC power.

Supplementary Earth Ground. A supplementary earth ground connection is provided for ESD protection.

Config switch. For internal Quintum use only.

Console port. This RS-232 connector is used for connection to a PC’s serial port via DB-9 straight through
cable at 38400 BPS 8N1, without flow control. The input/output signal are listed in Table 2-3.
