Changing the TV settings

To delete a channel label:
1 Press SETUP/TV MENU. The initial on-screen menu opens.
2 Press

select
Channel, then press or ENTER.
3 Press
or
to
select
Ch Label, then press or ENTER.
The Ch Label menu opens.
4 Press or to select the channel from which you want to
delete the label, then press . The Ch Label menu opens.
5 Press
or
to
highlight
Label Clear, then press or ENTER.
The channel label is deleted.
6 When you finish deleting the channel label, press EXIT to return
to normal viewing.
Labeling video inputs
To label video inputs:
1 Press SETUP/TV MENU. The initial on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to select Setup, then press or ENTER.
The Setup menu opens.
3 Press or to select Video Label, then press or ENTER.
The Video Label menu opens.
4 Press or to select the input which you want to label.
5 Press or to select the label you want for that input.
Options include:
• VCR—Video cassette recorder
• DVD—DVD video
• DTV—Digital TV set-top box
• SAT—Satellite box
• CBL—Cable box
• HD—HDMI device (only for HDMI inputs)
6 When you finish labeling the video input, press EXIT to return to
normal viewing.
Setting parental controls (V-chip)
You can set an age limitation on your TV to restrict children from
viewing or hearing violent scenes or pictures that you choose to
exclude. The restriction applies to “TV Rating” and “Movie Rating,” if
this data is transmitted. You may set this restriction separately. To use
the V-chip feature, you must set and use a password.
To set a password:
1 Press SETUP/TV MENU. The initial on-screen menu opens.
