4.4 Web page / Network Issues
Web page says status disconnected.
• The system only works with browsers that support Websockets. Websockets is currently only supported by
the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. As of July 2011 Internet Explorer does not support
websockets.
• If you are using Firefox 4 you may need to enable websockets as it comes disabled by default. In the address
bar Type
about:config and set the network.websocket.enabled preference to true (usually is already true) and
set the
network.websocket.override security block preference to true (which is usually false by default).
• Websockets communicated on TCP port 9877. Make sure your network is configured to allow connections on
this port. You may need to contact your network administrator.
