11.4.3 Configuring the service type of a PVP

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1

Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2

Run:

interface atm interface-number.subinterface

The ATM sub-interface view appears.

Step 3

Run:

pvp vpi

The command creates the PVP and the PVP view appears.

You can only configure the PVP on the ATM sub interface view.

Step 4

Choose the following steps to configure the service type of the PVP and related rate

parameters.

Run the

service cbr

output-pcr [

cdvt

cdvt-value ] command to configure the service

type as CBR.

Run the

service ubr

command to configure the service type as UBR.

Run the

service vbr-nrt

output-pcr output-scr output-mbs [

cdvt

cdvt-value ] command

to configure the service type as VBR-NRT.

Run the

service vbr-rt

output-pcr output-scr output-mbs [

cdvt

cdvt-value ] command to

configure the service type as VBR-RT.

By default, the service type of PVP is UBR.
