EDITING TRACKS
Track Erase Part Erase
You can erase a selected track.
1 ■ If 'Track Erase” is selected (P.58), the following
screen appears.

If the edit menu is selected during playback, the unit
automatically selects the item to be edited In this case, skip to
step 6 since you do not need to select an item.
2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to select the disc that contains the track to
be erased.
3i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the disc.
The number of the track to be erased flashes.
Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed seleclion.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press
+/-
on the remote
control) to select the track to be erased.
5a Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the track.
Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed selection.
To check the track to be erased, press >/nn. This unit starts to
play the track to he erasetl repeatedly.
6. Press COMPLETE.
The selected track is erased.
This unit returns lo the editing menu item selection. (If the edit
menu is carried on during playback, playback restarts.)
Memo::
The number of the track that has been erased will be available for
future use.
You can erase pari of a selected track.

Track to be partially erased
If the edit menu is selected, during playback, the unit
automatically selects the item to he edited. In this case, skip to
step 6 since you do not need to select an item.
Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to select the disc that contains the track to
be partially erased.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the disc.
The number of the Irack to he partially erased Hashes.
Press CLEAR lo cancel Ihe confirmed selection.
Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to select the track to be partially erased.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the track.
The passage between the point lhat is 5 seconds before Ihe
temporär}’ begimiing poini of the partial erase and the
temporary beginning poini (ihe poiiil that is 10 seconds elapsed
from the begimiing of Ihe track) is repeatedly played.

Playing time of the track
Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to select the beginning point of the partial
erase.
The beginning point of the partial erase can be sei by ‘■minule;
second: frame”. The unit lo be set is Hashing. Move the flash lo
the unit to be set by pressing
kki /< ki or w>/w> (-♦< or on
the remole control).
If yon stop rotating the MULTI JOG knob, this unit searches
for the beginning point according to the setting made, and starts
repeated playback of the passage between the point lhal is 5
seconds before Ihe beginning point and the beginning point.
