COPYING FROM A CD ONTO THE HDD
■ Copying selected tracks on a CD
You can copy your I'avoTilc Iracks on a CD onto the HDD.

Press >/nn to start copying.
The progress of the copy process is shown in the display.

Memo
• It takes a few seconds for this unit to become ready to start
copying after >/nn has been pressed.
• This unit may create some vibration and rotation noise while
performing the copying process by rotating a CD at high
speed.
To cancel copying, press n.
When copying has been compieted, the operation of
the HDD and the CD automaticaliy stops.

a Set the CD in the disc tray, then add bookmarks to
favorite tracks (P.24).
Tracks are listed and stored in order that the bookmarks htive
been placed.
Memo
The bookmark placed to the track on the CD will be canceled if
the disc tray is open, or the powder of this unit is turned off.
2a Press COPY once.
This uitit eitters the HDD copy standby mode. Copying has not
been started yet at this stage.
Memo::
• In the HDD copy standby mode, you can specify the settings
tor HDD copy. For details, refer to "Setting the HDD copy
mode” (P.28) and "Settings HDD copy meitu” (P.29).
• You can specity a disc to w'here data is copied. For details,
refer to ‘■Selecting a target disc” (P.28). (When no disc is
specified, the unit automatically selects the smallest disc
number that does not contain any data.)

Press TRACK NO./BOOKMARK (BOOKMARK on the
remote control).
The tisi of the track that the bookmark is placed to is selected
as the group to be copied (the MARK indicator lights on the
display). Press TRACK NO./BOOKMARK (BOOKMARK on
the remote control) again to return to the normal copy standby
mode.
