4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Hardware connections
To ensure proper operation, never exceed device ratings (see Chap.9 for a complete list).
Avoid spilling fluids on the device and make sure it is not exposed to strong vibration.
Connect power supply connector and communication cord to sensor.
There are four system operation LEDs on sensor body:
1. Network connection, green;
2. Digital output 2, orange;
3. Digital output 1, orange;
4. Power,
green.
A teach-in push-button is also provided (its operation is discussed further below).
To check for proper operation of the system, install the software on the personal computer (see next
paragraph) and start the program.
