Parameters
After clicking in the work area to create the ROI, the control panel displays the set of parameters that
enable control customisation.
Please note that different parameters are available in the STANDARD and EXPERT modes:
• Name : Name assigned to control in Inspection Explorer. Maximum length is 256 characters;
• Status : see "Result" further below;
• Brightness score:
o
Expected : Threshold used for inspection result evaluation. It is compared to calculated mean
brightness: if this value is below the threshold, the result is positive (STATUS indicator and
ROI border turn green); if it is higher, the result is negative (indicator and ROI border turn
red);
o
Calculated : The mean brightness (percent) of the pixels inside the ROI is graphically
displayed;
• Gray scale values: the range of gray scale values used to calculate brightness score.
o
Max value : The maximum value used; the default value is 255.
o
Min value : The minimum value used; the default value is 0.
• Delete : Deletes control from inspection.
Result
Graphically displayed by the Status indicator; shows control result:
o
: Mean brightness of ROI is lower than set threshold (Expected);
o
: Mean brightness of ROI is higher than set threshold.
