6.4.2. Test
In this mode, inspection can be run in two different
modalities:
• Offline: using previously stored images which
must be selected one by one.
• Online: sensor is simply used as a camera:
acquired images are sent to the PC that
processes them using the current inspection
controls.
It may be used to test the controls included in the
inspection.
6.4.3. Run
Before you can activate it, one inspection must be stored on the sensor.
This mode provides an effective test method for controls: images sent by the sensor are processed
and output behaviour is simulated. This way, you may check the behaviour of these outputs without
them physically affecting other devices.
The control panel offers status indication for the
three digital outputs (indicator colour) and the two
inspection verification options:
• Graphic Enabled: This is the graphic
verification method that provides a graphic
verification of the control for each image sent by
the sensor. The result is calculated immediately
and indicated by the colour of ROI border.
• Graphic Disabled: In place of the image sent
by the sensor, this mode displays a set of
information that may be used to evaluate the
performance of the inspection currently
performed by the sensor. This is the text
verification method: for each image sent by the
sensor, it shows the outcome of each control as
well as global inspection outcome, in addition to
the time taken to perform them.
To start this mode, simply click Start.
