Parameters
After clicking in the work area to create the ROI, the control panel displays the set of parameters that
enable control customisation.
STANDARD
mode EXPERT
mode
• Name : Name assigned to control in Inspection Explorer. Maximum length is 256 characters;
• Status : see "Result" further below;
• Match score :
o
Expected : Threshold used for inspection result evaluation. It indicates how closely the areas
found in the search ROI must resemble the master image of the reference ROI in order to be
considered valid (100% = perfect match, 0% … ). This value may be set automatically by the
system or you may set it manually using the slider;
o
Calculated : Provides a graphic display of the degree of similarity, in percent, between the
areas found in the search ROI compared to the master image of the reference ROI based on
the number and location of detected features.
• Quality/Speed
:
This is the degree of accuracy/speed provided when searching for the features. Set
this parameter affects processing results: the lower the speed, the greater the accuracy, hence, the
more features will be found.
• Count limits :
o
Min, Max: These parameters let you set limits for the number of areas similar to the area in
the reference ROI to be found. These thresholds must be compatible with the value found
(shown in the "Found" bar). This means Min must be less than or equal to "Found", and Max
must be greater than or equal to "Found".
• Delete : Deletes control from inspection.
Result
Graphically displayed by the Status indicator; shows control result:
o
: Calculated ROI contrast is lower than set threshold (Expected);
o
: Calculated ROI contrast is higher than set threshold;
