When you select
HP Instant Share Setup...
, a message
appears on the Image Display asking you to connect the
camera to your computer.
NOTE
If your computer is running Windows XP, when you
connect the camera to your computer in the next step, a
dialog box may display that requests you to

Cancel
to
close this dialog box.

Connect the camera to your computer either by using the
special USB cable that came with your camera for
connecting the camera to a computer, or by using the
optional HP Photosmart M-series dock:
•
Connect the camera to the
computer with the USB
cable by connecting the
larger end of the cable to
the computer, and
connecting the small end
of the cable to the USB
connector behind the
rubber door on the side of
the camera.
•
Connect the camera to the computer with an optional
HP Photosmart M-series dock by putting the camera in
the dock and pressing the
Save/Print
button
on
the dock.
Connecting the camera to the computer with the USB cable
or the dock activates the camera
