will be blocked, and you will be obliged to enter the PUK2 code that as the PUK code, can
only be provided to you by your network operator. In the case you would enter an incor-
rect PUK2 code, up to ten times, your SIM card will be permanently blocked, requiring once
again that you contact your service provider.
The battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. A new battery is not fully charged and can
only be fully charged after having been charged and totally discharged two or three times.
The

icon shows the level of charge in the battery; each bar in the battery represents
approximately 25% of the maximum charge.
When the battery is low, the red LED blinks, the phone will beep with a warning signal
(see page 34), and the
Battery low will be shown on the display.
You should charge your battery by following the procedure indicated on page 12.
We recommend not removing the battery when the phone is switched on, you may lose all
of your personal settings, and we advise that you keep the battery attached to the phone,
even when discharged. The back-up battery for the clock inside of the phone will last longer.
The battery, attached to the phone or not, should not be exposed to temperatures excee-
ding 60°C; for example behind a window in direct sunlight.

Clipping on the battery
The battery should be clipped into place after the micro SIM card has been inserted.
Removing the battery
Gently slide the small catch button towards the top of the phone, and lift the battery out of
its fitting.
