2. Open chime extender case. Press on cover with your
thumb and slide cover off as shown in Figure 2.
3. Install 4 “AAA” alkaline batteries (not included).
See diagram inside chime extender for correct battery
orientation.
Installation
Note: The chime extender can be oriented horizontally
or vertically.
1. Test range. Temporarily position chime extender
next to existing chime. Press “Test” button inside
chime extender to verify chime and chime extender
work properly. If chime does not sound, see Trouble-
shooting.
2. Test function. With the chime extender still in the
intended location, activate the existing door chime.
If chime does not sound, try one or more of the fol-
lowing steps.
• Turn the microphone sensitivity adjustment knob
clockwise to increase microphone sensitivity (see
Figure 3).
• Temporarily reposition chime extender around
existing chime.
