Error messages on the computer
Unsupported
printer
The printer is
not supported
by HP Direct
Print capability.
Either purchase a printer
with Direct Print
capability or connect the
camera to a computer
and print from there.
Unknown device The camera is
connected to a
USB device that
it does not
recognize.
Make sure you are
connected to a supported
printer or computer.
Message Possible cause Solution
Connection
between the
imaging device
and computer
failed.
The camera
might be
connected to a
computer
through a USB
hub.
Try connecting the
camera directly to the
computer or printer or
disconnect other devices
attached to the hub.
Photos are still
present on the
camera.
You have not
chosen to have
the images
deleted from the
camera when
you unload
them to a
computer.
If you want to have the
software automatically
delete images from the
camera after unload,
choose that option in the
Image Unload Settings
screen of the software.
