Troubleshooting

You can eliminate minor issues on your appliance your-

self. Please read the information on eliminating issues be-

fore contacting Customer Service. This may avoid unnec-

essary repair visits.

WARNING

Improper repairs are dangerous.

Only authorized service providers should repair the ap-

pliance.

If the power cord of this appliance becomes damaged, it

must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufac-

turer's Customer Service, or an authorized service

provider in order to prevent injury.

Only original spare parts may be used to repair the ap-

pliance.

If the appliance has an issue, call Customer Service.

Issue

Cause and troubleshooting

The general electrical system of

the appliance is not working.

The circuit breaker has tripped.

1.

Check circuit breaker or fuse box to your house.

2.

Make sure there is proper electrical power to the appliance.

The plug for the power cord is not plugged in.

Connect the appliance to the power supply.

There has been a power failure.

Check whether the lighting in your kitchen or other appliances in the room are

working.

The igniter sparks intermittently.

The ceramic igniter is wet or dirty.

Carefully dry or clean the igniter.

The burner ports are clogged.

Clean the ports on the burner cap with a wire, a needle or straightened paper

clip.

There is a smell of gas in the

kitchen.

A gas valve has been left on.

Turn off the gas taps.

Incorrect coupling of gas cylinder.

Check the proper connection to the gas cylinder.

The gas pipe to the appliance is leaking.

Shut off the gas supply at the main gas valve.

2.

Ventilate the premises.

3.

Immediately notify an authorised installation technician to check and certify the

installation.

4.

Do not use the appliance until you can be sure there are no gas leaks in the gas

supply line or the appliance.

The igniter clicks more than four

times before lighting.

The burner parts are not positioned correctly.

Position the burner parts correctly.

The igniters spark constantly.

The appliance is not connected properly to the power supply.

The electrical power supply is incorrectly polarized.

Unplug the appliance from the power supply.

Cut through the power cord.

3.

Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally respon-

sible manner.
