Saving the Sound Settings in a Program (Program Write)

1.

Press the [WRITE] button to make it light.

The PROGRAM NAME screen appears.

Use the cursor [

at which you want to enter a character.

Use the [DEC] [INC] buttons or the value dial to enter the

characters.

Repeat steps 2–3 to input the name.

When you have finished entering the name, press the [ENTER]

button.

Select the save-destination Program number, either by using

the [DEC] [INC] buttons or the value dial.

7.

When you have specified the save-destination, press the

[ENTER] button.

A confirmation message appears.

8.

Move the cursor to “OK” and press the [ENTER] button.

The program is saved.

NOTE

Never switch off the power while “Executing...” appears in the display.

Specifying the sound selected at startup (STARTUP)

The RD-2000 lets you specify the state (sound) in which it will power-

on.

Select the desired sound.

MEMO

When you register to STARTUP, it will also be called when you press

the [ONE TOUCH PIANO] button.
Even if you register the program, it’s called as the TONE.
When you register the program, the PROGRAM NAME is discarded.

Hold down the [WRITE] button and press the [ONE TOUCH

PIANO] button.

3.

Move the cursor to “OK” and press the [ENTER] button.

The current setting will be saved to STARTUP.
The next time you start the RD-2000, it will start up with the STARTUP

condition (sound) that you saved.

Changing the Order of Programs (Program Swap)

You can arrange the Programs into the order you like.
It is convenient to arrange Programs in the order in which you’ll be

using them for your live performance.

1.

From the MENU screen, choose “Program Utility”

“Swap.”

The Program Swap screen appears.

NOTE

You can’t use the Program Swap function in the following situations.

In the Menu screen, Write screen, or Demo screen.

When RHYTHM, AUDIO PLAY, or AUDIO REC are operating.

You can use the [INC] [DEC] buttons and value dial to change the

swap-destination Program.

3.

Press the [ENTER] button.

A confirmation message appears.

4.

Move the cursor to “OK” and press [ENTER] button to execute

the swap.

Repeat steps 2–4 as necessary.
If you decide to cancel Program Swap, press the [EXIT] button.

MEMO

When the Program Swap operation is completed, the swap-source

program number is selected.
