Appendix A: The HCMS Player
The HCMS Player is a compact version of the standard DVR Player. When multiple HCMS instances
are opened in multiple monitors, each HCMS can launch 1 HCMS Player. The main window of the
HCMS Player is shown below with the name of the buttons.

The usage and function of each button will be described in the following paragraphs.
Open Video File
Click on the icon to open video files. To open a file, you need to find the folder
containing *.DRV files from box 1. After the folder is found, select of box 2. Lastly,
double click on a file in box 3, and the file will be played. If you want to convert the *.drv file to *.avi
format, click on underneath box 2 instead, and double click the file in box 3. For more
detail about converting DRV files to AVI files, refer to section Playback Recorded Video.
