Operation of the HCMS
There can be at most 4 HCMS instances opened simultaneously. If the PC is
connected to more than one monitor, for example 4, then the PC can open up to 4
HCMS instances at the same time on the 4 monitors respectively. However the
processor and RAM of the PC will limit the number of HCMS instances as well. Note
that all monitors have to be set to the same resolution.
HCMS multiple instances limitation according to the PC:
RAM ≥ 512MB Open 1 HCMS
RAM ≥ 1GB Open up to 2 HCMS
RAM ≥ 1.5GB Open up to 3 HCMS
Dual Core or
Hyper-Threading
RAM ≥ 2GB Open up to 4 HCMS
RAM ≥ 512MB Open 1 HCMS
RAM ≥ 1GB Open up to 2 HCMS
RAM ≥ 1.5GB Open up to 3 HCMS
Single Core and
Frequency > 2.0GHz
RAM ≥ 2GB Open up to 4 HCMS
Single Core and
Frequency ≤ 2.0GHz
RAM ≥ 512MB Open 1 HCMS
NOTE: It is recommended to keep the connected channels within 512 channels
if multiple HCMS instances are opened.
Network Connection Detection
HCMS will auto detect network connection status. If HCMS lost network connection,
the following error message will be displayed.
When HCMS detected the restore of network connection, the error message will
disappear. Click on to cancel this function.
