1. The medium stationary reel is
assembled on the rod.
2. Check the proper fit and the
secure hold of the reel on the
r o d .
3. Open the bail arm of the reel.
4. Pull the line through all line rings
of the rod.
5. Assemble the stopper.
6 . Thread the bead.
7. Add a small sliding float with a
load bearing capacity of max.
20 g.
8. Depending on the load bearing
capacity of the float, clamp the
lead shot or add round lead or
lead olive.
9. If a round lead or a lead olive are
used, another stopper must be
assembled for the protection of
the knot at the swivel.
10. Fasten the medium swivel by
means of a half, locked blood
k n o t .
11. Check the knot for right fit and by
a tensile test.
12. If a floating lead is used, the
previously assembled stopper
(see point 9) must now be
pushed on the knot so that it
protects the latter from contact
with the lead.
13. Hang the leader with hooks of
size 2 to 8 in the karabiner of the
s w i v e l .
14. Close the karabiner of the swivel.
15. The stability of the leader must
under no circumstances be
higher than that of the main line.
16. Check the knots of the leader by
means of a tensile test.
17. Close the bail arm of the reel.
18. Adjust the brake of the stationary
r e e l .
19. Have the following accessories
with you:
(a) Mesh landing net
(b) Measuring device
(c) Stunning equipment
(d) K n i f e
(e) Unhooker or
unhooking pliers
The fish species that are most often
caught using this fishing method are:
carp, tench, perch, trout, chub and
other larger freshwater fish.

1. Pass the line

eye of the swivel

2. Lie at least 5 turns
around the main line
3. Pass the end of the
line through the eye
between the swivel
and the turns and lock it
4. Slightly moisten the
line (tip of the tongue)
and pull it to a knot
Leader assembly
Hang the leader with hooks of
size 2 to 8 in the karabiner of
the swivel and close it
Glass bead
Tighten
the line
Repeat the
procedure
The main line is inserted
in the slot of the pin and
the olive lead
Pin lead
assembly
The pin is inserted in the
whole of the olive lead
and twisted.
