Installing the System Memory
The motherboard supports DDR4 registered DIMM
memory for heavy-duty operations. Please follow the
steps below to install the DIMM memory modules.
Power off the system. 1.
Pull open the DIMM slot latches 2.
Align the DIMM module and make sure the notches 3.
of the module aligned with the socket keys in the slot.
Insert the module into the slot until it’s firmly seated. 4.
The motherboard of FW-8894 is designed with 16 DDR
DIMM sockets. For users without 16 modules to fill up all
the sockets, it is recommended to start by the blue ones
for optimal performance.
