meaning

Mxxx

This indicates a mismatch during allocation.

When the PLC receives an allocation message from the
network, it decodes the channel number into a drop and slot
number and then requests the configuration for that drop from
the Modicon PLC. Once the configuration has been received,
the gateway checks to make sure that the module in that slot is
the correct one. If not, then this message is sent to the node
that issued the allocation message.

Troubleshoot: Check the Traffic Cop in the Modicon PLC.

The drop and slot are called out in “ xxx ”. An
example message “ M021 ” is drop 2, slot 1, and
always rack 2.

TQFL

The gateway had an error sending to the ARCnet and the
queue is full.

On Modicon PLC or S908 remote i/o processor, there is an error in
communication (COM ERROR) light. This light is no when there is a failure
of a remote drop to respond to messages sent out by the remote i/o processor.
In the case of the PLC gateway, the light would come on if the MicroTrac
LAN has not sent the proper allocation messages to the gateway that matches
the PLC Traffic Cop. There could also be a problem with the cable that
connects to the gateway.
