Fuel Filter/Fuel Lines
CAUTION:
The fuel filter (3 - external fuel filter) (4 - in-tank
fuel filter) and fuel lines should be inspected
regularly. Special attention should be given to
the system’s fuel line condition after periods of
storage. Normal deterioration from weather
and fuel compounds can occur.
Oil Filter
The oil filter (5) is of a special design and must
not be substituted. This filter should be
changed annually or every 1200 miles (1920
km). Inspect oil line condition at 2000 miles
(3200 km).
NOTE: The direction of the arrows indicates
the direction of the flow through the filters.
NOTE: After changing the oil filter, the oil injec-
tion system must be bled of all trapped air. See
your dealer for instructions or have your dealer
perform the filter change and bleeding opera-
tion for you.
The only oil recommended for this system is
Polaris brand oil.
