Adding NewsQ Pro Categories
NewsQ Pro lets you create playlists for airing news broadcasts. Categories let
you better organize your clips and separate them for different news shows, for
example.
If you want to add categories for NewsQ Pro:
1. Click Add .
The Add Category window appears:
2. Enter a name for the new category and click OK .
Setting Up Media Files for Sharing
In order to transfer media files to another Vibrint workstation, you need to set
up file sharing on your computer. If you are also running NewsEdit on your
workstation, file sharing is already set up.
To set up your files for sharing:
1. In Windows Explorer, open the drive where your media files will be stored
(usually drive E:).
2. Right-click on the VibrintAVFiles folder and choose Sharing .
3. Choose the Shared As option button and leave the default share name
VibrintAVFiles .
4. Click OK .
The folder you shared will now appear with the standard Windows sharing
icon.
