Optional Auxiliary Battery Pack
An optional Rechargeable Auxiliary Battery Pack is available to connect with the Tracking Ring
Power Pack for extra long use. When attached to the Tracking Ring Power Pack, the Auxiliary
Battery Pack overrides the built-in 4-hour Battery. If you need more than 4 hours of use,
connect the Auxiliary Battery Pack to the Tracking Ring Power Pack. This provides up to 8 hours
of additional use.
To recharge the Auxiliary Battery Pack:
1. Turn OFF the Tracking Ring Power Pack.
2. Set the switch on the front of the Battery Charger to AUXILIARY BATTERY PACK.
3. Plug the Battery Charger into an electrical outlet and connect the Auxiliary Battery
Pack to the charger.
To get the maximum hours of use, use the 4-hour built-in battery first until the
Battery LOW light illuminates, and then attach the Auxiliary Battery Pack for an
additional 8 hours, giving you a total of 12 hours of use.
The Battery Charger takes 4 to 6 hours to recharge the Auxiliary Battery Pack.
Audio Switch
To activate Audio:
1. Set the AUDIO switch on the top of the Tracking Ring Power Pack to ON.
2. Speak at a normal level.
If you decide not to use the Audio feature of the Tracking Ring Package, the AUDIO switch on
the top of the Tracking Ring Power Pack should be set to OFF.
