Upgrading software from the CLI

NOTE:

Make sure the upgrade files exist in the root directory of the storage medium of the active and standby
MPUs of the IRF fabric.

Perform the following tasks as needed:

Upgrade Boot ROM
# Upgrade the Boot ROM program of the active MPU of the IRF fabric.

bootrom update file flash:/newest.btw chassis 1 slot 0

This command will update bootrom file on the specified board(s),

Start accessing bootflash chip...

Bootrom update succeeded in chassis 1 slot 0.

# Upgrade the Boot ROM program of each standby MPU of the IRF fabric.
