5.4.2.1 Press and hold the Push For Ohms Switch and read the
resistance on the red OHMS scale. The Ohmmeter must be prop-
erly zeroed. See Paragraph 5.4.1.4.
5.4.2.2 Read the resistance on the appropriate scale as noted in
the table below.
Range Leads Read Red Ohms Scale
Switch Red Black Multiply / Direct
R x 1 VOM COM Direct reading.
R x 100 VOM COM Multiply by 100.
5.4.2.3 Disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test and
return the Range Switch to the OFF position.
