8. Remove the spring compression cap screws.
9. Rotate the Headstock another full revolution, check that the rollers are in

complete contact with the pipe

CAUTION: Do not fully compress the springs or allow them to be

fully depressed. The springs of the OD Tracking Module must adjust

compression to work properly.

6.06

CHECK THE TRIPPER SHAFT TO SPROCKET ALIGNMENT

1. Rotate the Headstock until the sprocket on the OD Tracking Modules

approach the tripper shaft.

2. The Tripper Shaft must strike the sprocket on the edge of the tooth. Do not let

the Tripper Shaft strike the point of the sprocket tooth.

CAUTION: If the Tripper Shaft to sprocket alignment is not correct: the

Tripper Shaft or the sprocket or both may break when the Clamshell is

operated.
