17–Viewing File Information

Use the Information Screen to view various types of

information about your DR-1.
To open the Information Screen, first press the

MENU

key to open the Menu Screen. Select

INFORMATION

” and press the

¥/π

key.

Use the

wheel

to switch between the following three

information pages.

File information page (

FILE

)

Shows information about the currently playing file.

Memory information page (

MEMORY

)

Shows the use status of the currently inserted SD card

System information page (

SYSTEM

)

Shows the unit’s system setting information and

firmware version

The

FILE

page shows information about the currently

selected file.

WAV or MP3
Shows the audio file type.
For WAV files, bit length, stereo/mono, and sampling

frequency (Hz) also appear.
For MP3 files, the bit rate (kbps), CBR (constant bit

rate) or VBR (variable bit rate) type, and sampling

frequency (Hz) also appear.
TITLE
Shows the file name. If an MP3 files has ID3 tag title

information that information appears.

ALBUM
If an MP3 files has ID3 tag album information that

information appears. Nothing appears for WAV files

and MP3 files without ID3 tag information.

ARTIST
If an MP3 files has ID3 tag artist information that

information appears. Nothing appears for WAV files

and MP3 files without ID3 tag information.

File information page

The

MEMORY

page shows the status of the currently

inserted SD card.

TOTAL MUSIC
Shows the number of playable files contained by the

Music Folder.

TOTAL FOLDER
Shows the total number of folders in the Music Folder.

TOTAL MEMORY

Shows the total memory capacity of the

SD card.

REMAIN MEMORY
Shows the amount of unused memory on the SD card.

System information page

Memory information page

The

SYSTEM

page shows information about the

DR-1’s system settings and firmware version.

CUE/REV SPD
Shows the speed of forward and backward searching.

AUTO OFF
Shows the automatic power OFF setting.

BACKLIGHT
Shows the automatic backlight OFF setting.

System Ver.
Shows the system firmware version.
