2) Enter # # # # # # # # 1.
3) Enter the length of audio (Voice Trig .1) you

want for a trigger. This value is in .1 second
units, so 1 second of audio is 10.

4) Enter # 1.
5) Enter the amount of time (Voice Win Sec) you

want to look for the customers' audio. You can
use 1 through 9; this is in seconds. You will
generally want the window to be at lease 4
seconds or about 2 times your Voice Trig .1
value; i. e. Voice Trig .1 value=3.4 seconds
means a Voice Win Sec=8 seconds.

6) Enter #, then press the RESET button.

Specific Mode

Specific Mode is typically used in doctor

offices where there may be several doctors, but a
customer may only want to reach their doctor in an
emergency. Under Specific Mode, the AS-101
cannot be triggered by old ROTARY style phones.
To use this mode, record your answering machine
message similar to the following:

Hello! This is the XYZ doctors

office. I'm sorry, but there is no
one available to answer your call at
this time. Please leave your
message after the tone and we will
contact you shortly. If you are
calling from a touch tone phone,
and need immediate assistance
from doctor Jones, dial a 1 after
your message, from doctor Davis,
dial a 2 after your message, or
from doctor Lewis, dial a 3 after
your message. Here's your tone.

After recording your message, you would then

enter doctor Jones' pager number in memory spot 1,
doctor Davis' pager number in memory spot 2 and
doctor Lewis' pager number in memory spot 3.
NOTE: Did you notice the pattern, you asked the
customer to dial a 1 for doctor Jones and doctor
Jones' pager number is in memory spot 1.

Grouped Mode

Grouped Mode gives your customer two groups

of phone numbers to choose from. Group 1 dials the
phone numbers in memory spots 1, 2 and 3, while
Group 2 dials the phone numbers in memory spots 4,
5 and 6. Under Grouped Mode, the AS-101 cannot

be triggered by old ROTARY style phones. To use
this mode, record your answering machine message
similar to the following:

Hello! This is the XYZ

Company. I'm sorry, but there is
no one available to answer your
call at this time. Please leave your
message after the tone and we will
contact you shortly. If you are
calling from a touch tone phone,
and need immediate assistance, you
can have sales call you by dialing a
8 after your message, or you can
have service call you by dialing a 5
after your message. Here's your
tone.
