Multi-source and multi-zone playback

MULTI ROOM MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
• When the outputs of the MULTI SOURCE AUDIO OUT terminals are wired and connected to integrated amplifiers installed in other rooms,

different sources can be played in rooms other than the main room in which this unit and the playback devices are installed. (Refer to ANOTHER
ROOM on the diagram below.)

• When a sold separately room-to-room remote control unit (DENON RC-616, 617 or 618) is wired and connected between the main room and

another room, the remote-controllable devices in the main room can be controlled from another room using the remote control unit.

To control playback devices other than the ones above, either use that device’s remote control unit or preset a separately sold programmable
remote control unit.

NOTES:
• For the AUDIO output, use high quality pin-plug cords and wire in such a way that there is no humming or noise.
• For instructions on installation and operation of separately sold devices, refer to the devices’ operating instructions.

Room to Room Remote Control jacks
• When the OUT jack is connected, the signals input to the IN jack are output from the OUT jack directly. (Example: RC616 signals are output.)
• Do not connect only the OUT jack.

(The signals from the AVR-4800’s remote sensor are not output to this jack.)
