VPN tunnel with remote VPN
gateways. You can also choose
“Passthrough” to let local PCs
establish VPN tunnel with remote
VPN gateways.
Computers running Microsoft Windows can communicate with other computer by using NetBIOS. Users can
access remote network resources by browsing the My Network Places.
Computers running Microsoft Windows can communicate with other computer by using SSDP. The device will
send SSDP data to the remote IPSec network if this option is enabled.
Since VPN function requires signification processing power for encryption, too many concurrent VPN tunnels
will greatly degrade the performance of the network. This value indicates the maximum number of VPN tunnels
can be established at the same time.

This section will help you create and configure your
VPN settings. The router supports IPSec as the Server Endpoint. IPSec (Internet
Protocol Security) is a set of protocols defined by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) to provide IP security at the network layer.
